About ME
Hi! My name is Kerianne, and I am an NYC-based music director and pianist originally from San Diego, CA. I am so grateful to currently be the Associate Music Director of SIX on Broadway! I am also a proud member of Maestra and the LGBTQ+ community.
I began playing piano when I was seven years old, and was a devoted band kid (clarinet, then mellophone!) all the way through college. I discovered my love of playing in musical theatre pits when I was in high school, and made my professional debut at the beautiful Moonlight Amphitheatre at the age of 14. From there, I continued to play each summer and began music directing while I was attending UCLA, and after a whirlwind summer-stock experience in Indiana I moved to New York in the fall of 2022.
I was lucky enough to get the opportunity to music direct SIX on Norwegian Cruise Lines for six (fitting) months which was an incredible experience! We performed on the open (and often rocky) seas of Alaska and Mexico.
From there, I began subbing as a keyboard/conductor of SIX on Broadway! This was and still is an absolute dream come true - I am so grateful to get to play a show that empowers women and creates opportunity for women and nonbinary folks in musical theatre.
After being a sub-conductor for a year, I was asked to join the SIX Boleyn National Tour as the Associate Music Director. After that, I music directed a new musical called Austen's Pride on a short tour, and then spent the fall as the Associate Conductor of the First National Tour of SUFFS which was such a meaningful and powerful experience!
I returned to the city in the beginning of 2026 and took over as the Associate Music Director of SIX on Broadway in March of 2026. I am eternally grateful to everyone who I have met and worked with and can't wait to see what the future holds!
Some favorite shows I've done: SIX, SUFFS, Spring Awakening, Into the Woods, Mary Poppins, MAMMA MIA!, Legally Blonde, and more! I enjoy playing all styles, am classically trained, and I love comping on jazz, rock, pop, etc! I'm a big pop and folk music fan and love any opportunity to play music.
Currently, I am open and available for new musical works (as music director, AMD, or music assistant), cabaret/concerts, teaching, arranging, transcription, and more! As of January 2027 I will be open to other contracts and looking for more work in the city/regionally! Please reach out if you'd like to meet or work together! :)
